Lyra Valkyria Talks Potentially Working AAA, Wants Bouts With La Catalina And Flammer

Lyra Valkyria talks potentially working AAA and the opponents that she would like to work with La Catalina and Flammer.

In April of 2025, WWE would announce that they had acquired AAA and since then, several WWE stars have crossed over and worked events in Mexico. Now, another WWE roster member is eying a stint in Mexico with the promotion.

While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine in a new interview, Lyra Valkyria spoke about the possibly of working in AAA.

“I’ve never been to Mexico, so I feel like, oh, it’s a whole new world. The style over there… it’s such a huge element of wrestling that I haven’t even touched. Even just in terms of growing as a performer, I would love to go to Mexico. I keep hearing that the crowds there are, like, amazing. The atmosphere is electric.”

Lyra named La Catalina and Flammer as names that she would like to work with in AAA.

“Yeah, maybe Flammer. Maybe her, that would be amazing.”

Lyra also spoke about what she called the best thing about wrestling, which is the clashing of styles.

“I think the best thing about wrestling is when you have a different style and then you clash with another style… They’re my favourite type of matches when you’ve got two completely different performers in the ring together, and I think that’s a lot of the time when the magic happens.”
