M By Elegance recalls facing Willow Nightingale in AEW.

The former Maggie Lee wrestled her first match for a major promotion in 2023, as she wrestled Willow Nightingale on a March episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, M By Elegance said that she had a great time working with Willow.

“I was so new. This was another turning moment of realizing, ‘Maggie, why are you doing these moves?’ I
was wrestling girls and doing powerbombs and frickin’ spinebusters, which yeah, I can do it, but I get
there and I’m talking to Willow and she’s like, ‘What do you do?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, I do a spinebuster and a
powerbomb.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that’s what I’m doing.’ But the experience was so great. She’s so, so, so
sweet and producing the match was great as well. She was so sweet after the match. Obviously I was so
frickin’ green, like I was brand new. I didn’t even know how many matches I had worked up until that
point. I think that match might’ve been the first time that I had real wrestling gear even. Possibly, if I
remember correctly.”
