Madcap Moss Explains How Randy Moss Influenced His WWE Name

Madcap Moss signed with WWE in 2014 and initially used the name Digg Rawlis.

In 2015, he became Riddick Moss before becoming Madcap Moss in 2021 after returning from injury. On television, the name came from Happy Corbin as Madcap was kept around to keep Corbin laughing.

Speaking on The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show, Madcap explained how his name came together.

"Growing up, I was a Vikings fan and a Randy Moss fan. That's where the Moss came from. Originally, I was Riddick Moss. Riddick was just a cool name, that's where that came from. That's the extent of that. More recently, in the last year, I came back off an ACL tear and have been repackaged and had a rebirth, that's where I became Madcap Moss. That came from the head man, Vince McMahon himself," he said.

Madcap was part of the WWE Clash at the Castle Kickoff show where he teamed with The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) to defeat Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) & Austin Theory.

Moss is currently part of the WWE SmackDown brand.
