Madi Wrenkowski Praises Eddie Kingston And Jerry Lynn For Helping Her At AEW

Madi Wrenkowski made her professional debut in October 2019 and just over a year later found herself being used regularly at AEW tapings in Jacksonville.

Wrenkowski has continued to travel around the independent scene while still being called for various AEW Dark: Elevation tapings.

Speaking on the Natural State of Wrestling podcast, Wrenkowski reflected on her time in AEW and who has been helpful to her backstage.

"It was a blessing in disguise and I credit a big portion of my career to going where it is. Still working with them, I just had a match there last week, it's surreal. Some wrestlers don't realize how much taking that moment with the fans means, and that's something we often forget. For me, working with AEW, how much that actually means. It's a huge company and the fact that I'm even someone they call on or they consider, it's incredible. Can't complain," she said. "A lot of knowledge in the backstage area. It's always helpful to pick the minds of Jerry Lynn, Eddie Kingston, Dustin (Rhodes). It's great. Jerry is someone who is, off the bat, so friendly, so knowledgable, and he really takes the time to sit down with you, watch what you do and tell you how he thinks you can adjust or tweak. He values you as a person overall, rather than just a 'wrestler putting on a product.' He values you as a person."

Later in the conversation, Wrenkowski was discussing how she has become less afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is, which is how she connected with Kingston.

"I think that's why I vibe so much with Eddie Kingston because he's a very respect-based person, and like they always say, real recognize real, and he's very real with me and tells it like it is. That's what I do to other people," she said.

Wrenkowski most recently wrestled on the December 26 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, teaming with Vertvixen in a loss to Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale.

Along with competing for AEW, Wrenkowski is a regular for the NWA. She is set to compete on the January 3 episode of NWA Powerrr. Fans can check out the lineup for the show by clicking here.
