Madusa Discusses Working With Billy Corgan, Says There Are 'No Problems' In The NWA Locker Room

Madusa discusses working with Billy Corgan and the NWA.

Back in November 2021, it was announced that Madusa (also known as Alundra Blayze) would be joining the NWA in a behind the scenes role. This announcement came off the heels of NWA Empower, which was the company's first all-women's pay-per-view.

As part of her role, Madusa has worked with some of the top women's wrestlers in the NWA including Kamille, Kenzie Paige, KiLynn King, and Allysin Kay.

Madusa recently sat down with Renee Paquette for a interview on her The Sessions podcast, where the former WCW World Cruiserweight Champion talked about working with Billy Corgan and the NWA.

“So, it’s really great. Let me tell you something about Billy [Corgan]. Billy is… talk about an imagineer. To be who he is, he gets it. He’s always been a fan of pro wrestling and this man’s mind will blow you away. He knows more wrestling than… he’ll pull crap out and I’ll be like ‘What? Is that true, what?’ You know, he loves the NWA and the rich history of it. He loves the old school, like that TV vibe feel [in a] studio. Everything else is kind of the same out there and it’s great working for this company and having that history and that studio and that feel. It’s a different vibe. I will tell you Renee, there is like, no problems in the [locker room]. It is drama-less. You’ll have a few things… makeup. The damn women in the makeup, I swear. You just try to work it out but otherwise, it’s great.”
