It's not exactly new news, but it's official, the main event is set for NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn.
NXT Champion Samoa Joe will defend his title against former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and undefeated NXT star Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura would become the first Japanese star to ever hold a men's championship if he were to win.
Nakamura defeated new WWE main roster talent Finn Balor to launch himself into contention. Joe also defeated Balor, both in a title match, as well as a subsequent rematch.
Also set for the show is former NXT Women's Champion Bayley looking to regain her championship against another unbeaten Japanese star, Asuka. Bayley lost the title to Asuka earlier this year at NXT Takeover: Dallas.
