Major Shakeups To WWE Announce Teams: Corey Graves In, Jerry Lawler Out, Reshuffling

With the WWE Draft shaking up the WWE roster, the company is also changing their announce teams, and in a big way.

Corey Graves, acclaimed as one of the best color commentators in recent WWE memory, will be joining the Raw team from NXT. It doesn't end there, as former WWE Champion JBL will be moving to Smackdown. Also, David Otunga will permanently join the WWE Smackdown team.

The Raw team will feature Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, while Smackdown is hosted by Mauro Ranallo, John Bradshaw Layfield and David Otunga. WWE Superstars will have NXT's Tom Phillips and Corey Graves, Main Event will have Tom Phillips and Otunga on the call.

The odd man out here is WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler, who is scheduled for no shows. Lawler has worked with the WWE on and off since 1993. At 66-years old, Lawler was likely heading toward the end of his road as an on-air talent for WWE. He recently returned to the booth after a domestic assault charge was dropped.
