Major Stipulation Added To WWE Raw Match

A major storyline is in order for WWE Raw tonight.

Kane vs. Braun Strowman has been announced, with the winner moving on to WWE Royal Rumble in January to face WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. WWE revealed the news on Twitter Monday afternoon.

This wouldn't be Lesnar's first meeting with Braun Strowman. The two locked horns at WWE No Mercy in September, with Lesnar earning the win. Lesnar and Kane have never had a televised one-on-one match, but competed on a 2002 house show that ended in a DQ.

Lesnar last competed at WWE Survivor Series in November, where he defeated AJ Styles in a Champion vs. Champion interpromotional match. His last championship title defense was the aforementioned meeting with Braun Strowman in September.
