The House of Black has new targets
Following the dream match between Andrade El Idolo and Bryan Danielson, Malakai Black made his return to AEW, but this time he wasn't after Andrade, rather he set his sights on Danielson for the first time ever.
The lights went out and black appeared in the ring and delivered Black Mass to the "American Dragon." Black quickly disappeared and when the lights went out again, the other members of the Blackpool Combat Club were in the ring checking on Bryan Danielson, they had come out following the attack by Malakai.

Later in the night, Malakai resurfaced, and this time Brody King and Buddy Matthews flanked him. The full-strength male contingency of the House of Black targeted FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler during their match on October 21.
Still, there was more work to be done later in the night. The House of Black returned again during the main event match between Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli challenging Big Bill & Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship belts. The House got physically involved and attacked Claudio and Wheeler, leading to Ricky Starks and Big Bill retaining.
The night would end with The House of Black, Starks, and Bill brawling with FTR and the Blackpool Combat Club, including a returning Jon Moxley.

Malakai Black hasn't been seen since AEW All In where the House of Black lost the AEW World Trios Titles to The Acclaimed ("Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn, Max Caster, and Anthony Bowens). Buddy Matthews had also been absent from TV. Brody King, however, had been in the corner of Julia Hart during her unsuccessful quest to capture the AEW TBS Championship.
