On May 4th and May 5th, PROGRESS Wrestling held night one and night two of their Super Strong Style 16 tournament, with Man Like DeReiss and Leon Slater managing to make it to the finals.
Slater and DeReiss would go to war in the finals, as the two tag partners fought for the Super Strong Style 16 crown. In the end, Man Like DeReiss would hit a 450 splash on his friend, securing the 3 count required to win the tournament.

DeReiss would knock off Charlie Sterling in the semi finals of the event, with Slater defeating Oku in the other semi final bout.
The winner of the Super Strong Style 16 tournament earns a future PROGRESS World Championship match, with Luke Jacobs currently holding the title after defeating Cara Noir earlier today.
