Mansoor On His Winning Streak: I Was Told I Couldn't Lose, So Winning A Title Was Out Of The Question

Mansoor reflects on his winning streak in WWE.

Mansoor participated in a WWE Saudi Tryout and landed a contract with WWE 2018. He then started winning practically every time he competed on 205 Live and Main Event, and he ran the streak up to 49 matches. The streak ended the night of Mansoor's in-ring debut on WWE Raw in 2021, as he lost to Humberto Carrillo via disqualification.

In an AMA on Reddit, Mansoor was asked whether the streak was leading to a title match.

"I’m proud of that 205 run and was glad I got the opportunity to show more of what I was capable of. Sadly, the streak was merely a byproduct of a mandate from up top that I couldn’t lose, so it was never going to lead into anything. I was told I couldn’t even lose by being the person not pinned in a tag or multi-man match, so winning the title was out of the question. Very creatively stifling and made it so I couldn’t regularly appear on NXT," Mansoor said.

Mansoor went on to form Maximum Male Models with Mace in the summer of 2023. They were joined by Maxxine Dupri, who later joined Otis and Chad Gable of Alpha Academy.

WWE released Mansoor in a round of cuts on September 21.

Mansoor and Mace recently said that Tyler Breeze was almost a member of Maximum Male Models. More information is available here.
