Mara Sadè Looks Back On Return To WWE NXT, Says She Felt Motivated

Sadè wanted to show what she’s been able to accomplish.
As part of NXT vs. TNA Showdown, Mara Sadè, the former Jakara Jackson, made her return to WWE’s NXT brand. Sadè represented TNA Wrestling in the four-on-four elimination match against NXT talents.
Sadè was let go from WWE in May, but ventured to TNA and was signed in July. Sadè was interviewed by Counted Out and opened up about her return to WWE.
“Hell yeah,” Sadè responded when asked if there was some motivation when she returned to NXT. “A thousand percent. Just because of the circumstances of the whole entire situation. Like you said, or like people have said, it was a head scratcher when things went down the way it did. Even for myself. So, for me to go back in there, it was definitely a moment for me to, basically, hey, what’s up? This is what I’m on now, and show out basically. Just to show ‘em what they missing… It’s just, like, things happen for a reason. I just feel like I’m in this place for a reason and I’m gonna take the opportunity and put my best foot forward and give it all that I got, and yes, if I’ma show ‘em too, I’ma do that as well.”
Sadè was in action at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view as part of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal. She entered at the number two spot but was the first person eliminated.
