Mara Sade Says Chelsea Green And Naomi Inspired Her To Go TNA

Mara Sade explains her decision to cross the line and sign with TNA Wrestling.

Mara Sade, formerly known as Jakara Jackson in WWE, is one of the newest signings to TNA Wrestling. Currently, she’s bringing all the action to the Knockouts locker room. Now, she’s explaining what inspired her to cross the line full-time.

Speaking with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic, the former Meta 4 member named the career trajectories of Chelsea Green and Naomi as huge inspirations for her own Journey. Also, having been to TNA as part of the working relationship they have with NXT, she was excited to venture out into a promotion that wasn’t entirely foreign to her.

“To be honest, there are options, most certainly, but legends have come from TNA. For example, Chelsea, Naomi, like these people have gone through TNA, and they were able to expand and show who they were, and that’s inspiring to me, and I want to do the same. I feel like the creative freedom is there, television is there; I’m back on people’s screens, which I know everybody’s been wanting. So we back. But like you said, there are options. But this one felt like the right one.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about wanting to wrestle Mercedes Mone one day. Read more of her thoughts on that here.
