Marc Maron Is Gamę To Be Part Of AEW Show Next Time He Attends

Marc Maron attended his first AEW show earlier this year when Dynamite came to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

As part of his journey, Maron spoke to members of the AEW roster including Chris Jericho, MJF, Eddie Kingston, and Tony Khan for a podcast series. Despite starring in the Netflix series "Glow," Maron was not familiar with the world of wrestling and was coached up by his WTF producer Brendan McDonald.

Speaking on the WTF podcast, Brendan revealed that AEW asked if Maron would be interested in being involved in Dynamite at Kia Forum in some capacity.

"They'd ask me when we were setting up going to the show and all the preparations, 'does Marc want to get involved? What 'get involved' means is like a bad guy will come over to you and maybe push you around and you give him the stink eye. I said, 'let's take it easy.' If we ever went back, would you get involved?" asked Brendan.

Maron replied, "There was a point where Max [MJF] was up there doing his heel business and he brings up Freddie Prinze and Ken Jeong, and I'm like, 'I'm right here, dude.' I met you backstage, I can handle it."

MJF took shots at Freddie Prinze Jr and Ken Jeong during his promo on AEW Dynamite.

Brendan said, "I think that was probably my fault by saying no. They were probably like, 'Don't involve Marc Maron in the act.'"

Maron concluded by saying, "Next time, I have to be part of it. I'm game. We'll do it next time."

Along with Freddie Prinze and Ken Jeong, Paul Walter Hauser was involved in the Los Angeles taping, taking a guitar over the head on AEW Rampage courtesy of Jeff Jarrett.
