Marc Mercier Passes Away Aged 68
Marc Mercier, a legendary figure in the world of French wrestling, has passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with cancer.

Marc Mercier, a legendary figure in the world of French wrestling, has passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with cancer.
Mercier’s career would begin in the 1970s and lasted until the 2020s, retiring in 2024 after a lengthy career while also becoming a promoter. In 2006, he would help re-found the French Professional Wrestling Association, which became the French Professional Wrestling Federation, and was elected as it’s president. Marc would also work as an actor and a stuntman during his life. He is also responsible for founding the Catch Academy where he would train the future of French wrestling.
On September 7th, Marc’s son, Hugo, announced that Mercier had passed away on the 7th of September at the age of 68, after he had previously announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
