Maria Kanellis is denying she and her husband Mike ever asked for their WWE release.
On Jan. 16 Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Maria and Mike Kanellis had asked for their release from WWE as they are unhappy with their current position in the company. Fightful later confirmed the report. Yesterday, Maria took to Twitter to post "facts" regarding the reports, but in the series of tweets, never denied requesting her release.
Today, Maria returned to social media to flat out deny the report. "I DID NOT ask for my release. Speculation and rumors are running rampant. Someone is playing all the wrestling news sites. It?s a game," she wrote.
