An update on Maria Kanellis.
Fans may have noticed that the announced 205 Live contract signing between Drake Maverick and Mike & Maria Kanellis never took place. Instead, Maverick announced his match against Kanellis in a backstage segment.
It turns out that Maria was not at the SmackDown Live/205 Live taping on Tuesday as she was hospitalized for vomiting and dehydration. Maria explained her absence in a post on Instagram.
Maria did appear on Raw in a backstage segment with Mike and WWE legends, including Eric Bischoff. Mike is still scheduled to face Maverick in an unsanctioned match on next week's 205 Live.
