Marigold has announced the full card for their next major show SHINE FOREVER 2025 ~ A Glorious Celebration ~.
The show will feature the retirement of Nanae Takahashi, one of the founding members of Marigold and STARDOM. Takahashi has been competing since 1996 as a member of AJW. She will officially wrap up her legendary career in the expected main event against Marigold's Miku Aono. The match is titled "FINAL PASSION."
Also on the show, Mayu Iwatani will go for gold in her very first pay-per-view as she challenges protégé Victoria Yuzuki for the Superfly Championship. Iwatani stated at her introductory press conference that she wants to win the Marigold Grand Slam, which includes the Superfly Championship. Yuzuki made the official challenge following Iwatani's debut match against Nanae Takahashi on May 4th at Korakuen Hall.
The Marigold World Championship will also be on the line, as Utami Hayashishita makes her third defense against MIRAI. This match has been one of the big ones circled for Marigold, as Hayashishtia and MIRAI were two of the original names who started the company a year ago. MIRAI will look to win the first world championship in her career with a win.
Finally, the Marigold vs. Marvelous feud will continue. There will be a five vs. five matchup as well as a big-time singles bout with super rookie Seri Yamaoka taking on Marvelous ace Takumi Iroha.
