Leading into AEW’s All Out pay-per-view is the Saturday Tailgate Brawl special on TNT and HBO Max. The second match of the special saw the Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia taking on AEW World Trios Champion Katsuyori Shibata.

Garcia refused to acknowledge ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard, who was seated at commentary. Menard got up out of his seat and got in Garcia’s face, but Garcia continued to ignore him and focused on Shibata.

The backend of the bout saw Shibata put Garcia in a sleeperhold, and Garcia tapping out, but it was the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir distracting the referee.

Garcia capitalized on that and dropped Shibata with a Gotch Style Piledriver. He then stomped Shibata’s head against the mat and picked up the pinfall victory.
