Marissa McMahon, The Wife Of Shane McMahon, Receives Best Picture Nomination At The 98th Academy Awards
Marissa McMahon scores a big Oscar nomination.
On Thursday, January 22, the nomination for the 98th Academy Awards were revealed to the world. Some wrestling fans were disappointed to see that The Rock missed out on a Best Actor nomination for his work on ‘The Smashing Machine’.
A name loosely associated with the world of wrestling still picked up a nomination though, as Marissa McMahon is listed as a producer for ‘Train Dreams’. That film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Song, and Best Cinematography.
McMahon recieves a nomination from the Best Picture nod specifically, as producers are credited in that category.
