Mark Davis Names Dax Harwood And Gunther As The People Who Have Hit Him The Hardest In The Ring

Mark Davis has been in the ring with some bad dudes.

Despite being widely considered as one of the top beefy guys in wrestling, Davis has been in the ring with plenty of people that have have outmatched him on a physical scale.

Chatting with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Davis named Gunther and Dax Harwood as two of the people that have hit him the hardest in the ring.

“Oh, Gunther. Gunther is a son of a bitch. He takes enjoyment in it. I think that’s when he’s in his like element too, which sometimes it feels good to be bullying another human being. I get it. But he’s hit me in so many ways. His chops are super powerful, but just in general fucking absolutely everything that he does is painful. Recently in All Elite Wrestling ring, Dax. Dax has a mean right hand and Dax has a nasty chop and Dax is also a real son of a bitch. He is like a little feral dog. He will just not stop coming at you and he’s the dude that you just gotta put your hands up and throw bombs with or else you’re just not gonna survive. But I love it. I love it. It’s my favorite time. My favorite type of professional wrestling.”

Davis went on to say that Jeff Cobb made him feel like a ‘young man’ during some of their matches.

“There’s certain people historically, like whenever I was in the ring with Jeff Cobb, it would be a frightful situation. He definitely made me feel like a young man, not like a big heavyweight professional wrestler, whenever we’d have contests.”
