Mark Davis has named his Mount Rushmore of Australian professional wrestlers, also discussing Nathan Jones’ impact on him.

In 2026, Australia has several professional wrestlers in both WWE and AEW, as well as several popular names on the independent wrestling scene. Across the major promotions, the likes of Rhea Ripley, Buddy Matthews, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis and more have found success, but for Davis, only one of those names belongs on Australia’s Mount Rushmore of pro wrestlers.

While speaking to Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez in an interview prior to AEW Redemption, Mark Davis was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of Australian professional wrestlers.

“Nathan Jones, Kyle Fletcher, there’ll be Big Ripper, and then maybe as like an outside dark horse just for like how long I’ve known him and how long he’s been plugging along is Jag Hartley Jackson. That would be my four. Just as a peculiar, unique little Mount Rushmore.”

Davis also briefly noted Nathan Jones’ impact in Australian pro wrestling.

“When I started wrestling, that was the only Australian man that anybody knew of doing anything of any merit inside of professional wrestling. So I’m glad the time has changed from that.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Davis spoke about Jeff Cobb potentially coming to AEW. You can read more abut that here.
