Mark Davis: There’s Honestly A Litany Of People Who I Would Love To Step In The Ring With Now I’m Finding My Footing As A Singles Wrestler

Mark Davis comments on what AEW wrestlers he’d like to step into the ring with now he has found his footing as a singles wrestler.

Over the course of the past several months, Davis has established himself as a singles star in AEW and is the currently AEW National Champion, having previously been almost exclusively a tag team wrestler.

While speaking to The Wrestling Classic in a new interview, Mark Davis was asked to name who he would like to face off with in singles competition in AEW as he continues his run as a singles competitor. Davis would name two of AEW’s top stars before admitting that the list is ‘kind of endless.’

“Oh, dude, I think you could make a pretty long list to be honest. I mean, I’ll say any- absolutely anybody, but there’s… I mean like there’s people like the AEW world champion, Kenny Omega, you know, there’s people like Chris Jericho. There’s, there’s honestly a litany of people who I would love now to step in the ring with, now that I’m finding my footing as a singles wrestler. Now that I’ve, you know, been a champion for a little bit, backing up some defenses, my confidence is at an all time high. I think that the- like the recipe for fantastic wrestling and fantastic opponents is there. There’s so many, there’s so many pieces that you could put into place to make some cool stuff happen. So there’s, yeah, the list is kind of endless to be honest.”
