Mark Haskins Wins ROH International Cup, Will Challenge Jay Lethal For ROH World Title

A new challenger has emerged for Jay Lethal's ROH World Title. 

Mark Haskins won the ROH International Cup during Day 2 of the ROH Honor Re-United Tour. Haskins defeated Jonathan Gresham in the first round, Flip Gordon in the semifinals, and Hangman Page in the final to win the tournament.

Prior to the start of the tour, ROH and Lethal announced that he would defend the belt against the eventual winner. Haskins challenged Lethal for the ROH World Title back in January 2016 at RevPro High Stakes. He came up short in his effort to win ROH gold on that night.

The bout will go down on the final night of ROH's Honor Re-United Tour on Aug. 19. The show begins at 12 p.m. ET and will stream live on FITE.tv. Along with the ROH World Title match, the Young Bucks will take on Jonny Storm & Jody Fleisch and Marty Scurll battles Jay Briscoe.
