Mark Henry On Pat McAfee & Adam Cole's Tension: 'This Isn't A Work, This Is Real Sh*t!'

Mark Henry says that the recent squabble between Adam Cole and Pat McAfee was no work and if WWE is smart, they will turn it into business.

During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, former NXT Champion, Adam Cole recently lost his cool and fired a few f-bombs at McAfee after McAfee attacked Cole's height. This interaction got the internet abuzz asking whether or not this tense moment was genuine or whether it was a work for the cameras.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry weighed in on the situation, claiming that it is no work. Mark Henry would start by comparing the verbal skills of Pat McAfee to that of Dusty Rhodes and say that, if you made fun of Dusty's stature, he would make sure that you never worked again.

“If you called Dusty Rhodes fat he would assassinate your career, you couldn't work at a bingo hall in Poughkeepsie when he got through browbeating you. Pat McAfee has those kinds of abilities. He'll do it, sleight of tongue, if you will. He's slick,” Henry began. “You can't just go on with somebody that can really go verbally and not expect for what happened to happen. Pat started pushing his buttons. Adam Cole was the heel because he started it, and I love Adam Cole. He was the one that said, 'of all people to try to poke somebody. You were a punter.' He was the one that stabbed first. So he's the heel.”

He continued, “Usually the best things come from reality and I think if it’s not, it will be. It should be. But, I don't think it is. This is not a work, this is real shit that's going to have to be turned into business because it's too good not to.”

Fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Bubba Ray Dudley was also on the show and said that as a former employee of WWE, he feels Adam Cole's actions won't be tolerated but also said that Pat McAfee, as somebody who has had great dealings with NXT in the past, should be reprimanded for attacking Adam Cole for his height.
