Maryse Responds With "You Never Know" When Asked About A Potential Return To In-Ring Competition

Maryse does not rule out a return to the ring.

The last time that former two-time WWE Divas Champion Maryse wrestled in a WWE ring was at the 2018 'Hell In A Cell' pay-per-view where she and The Miz defeated Brie Bella and the current WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in a mixed tag team match. Maryse appeared on WWE programming last month at the 'Elimination Chamber' pay-per-view before the SmackDown Tag Titles match to announce that she and The Miz are having another child.

It was just six months after Maryse gave birth to Monroe Sky that she returned to in-ring competition and during a recent interview with Hollywood Life, Maryse did not rule out a return to the ring but said that she is not worried about that at the current moment and is focused on her pregnancy.

"You never know,” she teased. “I’m not even thinking about it right now because I just honestly want to enjoy my life and my pregnancy. Now that I have Monroe and I’m pregnant again, honestly it goes by so fast.”

The Miz shared the same sentiments and did not rule out a return to the ring for Maryse. The former Divas Champion says that she thinks WWE values her and she is open to a return but she is going to let things unfold naturally.

“I think that the WWE values me, and I’ve been with them for over 15 years on and off, so, I would honestly say I don’t know, and I’m open to it, but we’ll have to see." Maryse explained. "And the WWE is all about bragging rights, because we’re competitive…That’s the WWE, that’s the life that we live, you never what’s gonna happen."

On April 7th, The Miz will have a singles match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania which will be contested under Falls Count Anywhere rules. On the most recent edition of SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon offered a few harsh words to The Miz and to read about how Miz responded, head over to Fightful's SmackDown coverage article.
