Maryse Says That The Miz Being Away From Their Daughter Has Been Harder Than He Thought It Would Be

Miz still finding the balance between work and home life.

On a September edition of Monday Night RAW The Miz and his wife Maryse announced in front of the world that they were expecting their first child and on March 27th of this year, Monroe Sky Mizanin was born. Once The Miz returned to WWE after taking a break to be with his family, whether it was in a promo or on commentary he mentioned how much becoming a father has changed him and provided him with a new outlook on life.

The former 8-time WWE Intercontinental Champion is now back on the road and away from his newly-born daughter. Maryse has tallied up five years with the WWE so she understands the grind that comes with the job and in an interview with PEOPLE.com, Maryse shared that although The Miz was very aware of how difficult it was going to be being away from Monroe Sky, he did not think the level of difficulty would be where it is.

“He was telling me how hard it is to leave us. He knew it was going to be hard but it’s a lot harder than he thought,” Maryse said. "Mike is not the type who will cry. I’ve never seen him cry in 12 years, but he’s just so cute. You can tell she stole his heart. FaceTime helps because she’s changing every day. I bombard him every day with 100 photos, it’s ridiculous. At some point, I have to stop, but he loves it,” Maryse says. “It’s definitely hard but we try to work it out.”

Although The Miz is missing his baby-girl one thing he is not missing out on is opportunities. "The A-Lister" recently earned his way into the men's Money In The Bank Ladder match at the 'Money In The Bank' PPV next month as he looks to once again become the holder of the top prize in the company; the WWE Championship.
