Máscara Dorada States That Getting AEW Contract Was A ‘Huge Surprise’

It was back in January that it was formally announced that Máscara Dorada inked a dual contract with All Elite Wrestling and CMLL.

Dorada spoke about the deal while being interviewed by Denise Salcedo and said the following (transcription by Fightful’s Luis Pulido):

“Well, it was a huge surprise, since the only wrestler with a dual contract at the time was Hechicero. When they told me, I didn’t hesitate for a single second, because this has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, I always wanted to work for two companies, since there are very few wrestlers in the world who have two, three or four contracts. I wanted to be part of that very small group of wrestlers, because for me, it’s a real pleasure to wrestle all over the world.”

Hechicero, Persephone, Thunder Rosa and Místico are under CMLL-AEW deals as well.
