Mascara Dorada Would Like To Face Will Ospreay, ‘It’s A Five Star Match No Matter Who He’s Facing’

Mascara Dorada is one of the few wrestlers on a dual AEW-CMLL contract, with the deal being announced in January.
Dorada competed in the 2025 Continental Classic and got to share the ring with top AEW talent like Konosuke Takeshita and Jon Moxley. He’s also faced Kazuchika Okada, Bandido, and Kenny Omega during his time in AEW.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Dorada was asked who else from AEW he would like to face.
“I’ve already had the chance to face wrestlers I’ve wanted to face, like Kenny Omega. I was in a four-way match against Kenny Omega, Claudio Castagnoli, and Brody King, and that’s something very, very important to me, because he’s a wrestler I’ve looked up to for a long time. I also wanted to face Bandido; I’ve already had that chance, but if we’re talking about wrestlers I haven’t faced yet, I think I’d have to go with Will Ospreay.
“He’s a very well-rounded wrestler, every time he steps into the ring, it’s a five-star match, no matter who he’s facing. He’s a very imposing wrestler, very strong, and very agile. PAC is a wrestler who’s also incredibly strong. He’s a very, very daring wrestler; he has some beautiful dives. These are wrestlers from whom I want to absorb a little bit of experience because they’re the best in the world, right? To be among the best in the world, you have to face the best in the world.”
Dorada last wrestled a singles match on AEW TV on the March 14 episode of AEW Collision, taking on Andrade El Idolo.
He recently advanced to the finals in the CMLL 2026 Universal Tournament.
