Matches On WWE Network With Former AWA Light Heavyweight Champion Buck Zumhofe Edited Off

An interesting find on the WWE Network.

The news was first brought to the light by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline in the site's Daily Update that former AWA World Light Heavyweight Champion Buck Zumhofe's matches have been edited off the WWE Network. The Network's 'Hidden Gems' section features AWA's Christmas shows from 1981 and 1982. Zumhofe was a part of those shows but on the WWE Network's presentation of it, matches with Zumhofe were not on the shows.

Jade Cargill Says She’s Open To Working Both WWE Raw And SmackDown

Here's the official post by way of F4WOnline:

The WWE has a few mistakes on the Hidden Gems. The AWA December 25, 1982 show actually had two matches from December 25, 1981, which were Nick Bockwinkel vs. Billy Robinson and Hulk Hogan & Tito Santana vs. Ken Patera & Bobby Duncum. Also, in their presentation of both the 1981 and 1982 shows, matches with Buck Zumhofe, a sex offender, were edited off the shows.

The now 67-year old Buck Zumhofe has been in and out of prison since he was first jailed in the 1980's when he was found guilty of sexual misconduct with a minor. Zumhofe would later be arrested again in 2013 for similar charges and allegedly sexually abused his daughter for over a decade. Four years ago he was sentenced to 25-years in prison and is currently serving his time at the 'Minnesota Correctional Facility' in Rush City, Minnesota.
