Matt Cardona says he gets complaints for being ‘too stiff’ from other TNA talent.
When he isn’t moonlighting as Zack Ryder in WWE, Matt Cardona is a staple of several promotions around the US, including TNA. Cardona’s run in TNA has been one of prominence, and has quickly become a regular part of TNA programming.
While speaking to Bill Apter in a new interview, Cardona labeled the TNA roster ‘little wimps’ after Apter suggested a possible match with Gunther in the future.
“Gunther might not complain like all these little wimps in TNA Wrestling. There are a lot of them.”
Cardona continued, noting that people do complain about him being too ‘snug’ in the ring.
“I get complaints all the time. Oh, Matt Cardona’s too stiff. He’s too snug. Come on. This is pro wrestling.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Cardona spoke about how his WWE appearance came about in ‘just a couple of days’. You can read more about that here.
