The Matt Hardy Brand has acquired the services of The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny.
Still seething over The Dark Order helping Adam Page defeat him and learn all of his first-quarter earnings, Matt Hardy has expanded his faction. Already working closely with Private Party and having a freelance-based relationship with Jack Evans and Angelico, Matt Hardy has now revealed that he has signed The Butcher and The Blade. Of course, coming with them will be Allie, The Bunny.
This trio has had a history during the short time AEW has been in existence of acting as hired henchmen for others. First, they were hired by Maxwell Jacob Friedman to get into the head of Cody Rhodes. Then, they were a part of Eddie Kingston’s crew, now that Kingston is a babyface, they have moved on to Matt Hardy.
Hardy also revealed that Private Party and Butcher and Blade will compete in 8-man tag action on the debut episode of AEW Dark: Elevation on Monday, March 15. That show will also feature Jungle Boy against Danny Limelight.
