Matt Hardy Comments On Being On And Off AEW Television

Matt Hardy signed with AEW in March 2020 and have found himself on and off television throughout his run.

He's had high-profile feuds with Hangman Page and Sammy Guevara, he's led the Hardy Family Office, and he's teamed with his brother Jeff Hardy. Since Jeff's arrest for DUI in June, Hardy hasn't been featured as much, but recently linked back up with Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen).

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Matt was asked how he deals with not always having a spot on weekly TV.

"I'm okay with it in the big scheme of things. First and foremost, I love working with AEW and Tony Khan. He is such an easy boss and very generous in many ways. There are ideas I have and we have a huge roster, TV time is thin for a lot of people and you kind of cycle in and out. I feel I'm put in important positions and whenever I'm put in a position, I'm put in a position to succeed, which is something that didn't happen in my last run in WWE part of time," he said.

Matt reiterated that he's excited for fans to see where the story goes with Private Party. The trio shared a moment in the Golden Ticket Battle Royale at AEW Rampage Grand Slam.
