Matt Hardy: I Would Love A Hardys vs. Motor City Machine Guns Match At Some Point

Matt Hardy shares his thoughts on the Motor City Machine Guns.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, collectively known as the Motor City Machine Guns, are one of the greatest tag teams in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling history, and they influenced countless wrestlers who came after them. The duo has won titles in IMPACT, ROH, and NJPW, among other promotions. Sabin and Shelley are currently thriving as singles stars, as they respectively hold the IMPACT World Championship and the IMPACT X-Division Championship. Matt Hardy, one-half of the legendary Hardy Boyz tag team alongside Jeff Hardy, recently spoke highly of the duo.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the veteran was asked about the Motor City Machine Guns, and he expressed his interest in potentially facing them.

"Yeah, I like both of those guys. I've always been a fan of their work since they started together, and they really burst on the scene in IMPACT Wrestling. I saw they were very talented together as a team. I loved the pacing of things they did. In a lot of ways, they kind of seem like barrier breakers, much like the Young Bucks, so I dug those guys. I would love to have a Hardy Boys vs. Motor City Machine Guns match at some point. That'd be very cool. Two very well-known tag teams clashing for the first time, I think it'd be a cool match to partake in," Hardy said.

During the same podcast, Hardy also commented on potentially wrestling in ROH. Click here to see what he had to say.
