Matt Hardy: If King Maxel Applies Himself He Can Sign A WWE Contract At 18

King Maxel, the oldest son of Matt Hardy, is already a television star, having appeared on AEW, TNA, and WWE TV during his 10 years on earth.

Matt has been busy over the past month, working various independent dates and conventions along with appearing on TNA and NXT TV.

Speaking to Jon Alba on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt noted how he loves sending videos to his kids on the road.

“It’s really cool and I’m glad that they get to watch us have this level of success, especially at more of an advanced age, as we’ve been doing this for a while. I say, ‘Guys, I just want to make it through until you guys can start. As soon as you guys start, I’m 100% ready to be out the game. I just want to be a cornerman and wheelman,'” he said.

Matt said that Maxel will turn 11 in June.

“Seven and a half years away. It’d be 2033 when he’d be ready to go. I said, ‘Maxel, in all honesty, if you wanted to and you applied yourself and did good, when you turn 18 years old, you could sign a WWE contract.’ Go by the term of the Hardy Boys,” he said.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) were in action at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, defending the NXT Tag Team Titles against DarkState.
