Matt Hardy has some harsh words for the AHFO's assistant.
Matt Hardy is the minority owner of the AHFO, the Andrade-Hardy Family Office. Andrade paid big bucks to Big Money Matt Hardy in order to become the majority owner of what was the Hardy Family Office. Along with Andrade came Jose, Andrade’s personal assistant.
In recent weeks, Matt Hardy has been exhibiting erratic behavior but there was never any direct hostilities towards Jose. Until now. On the most recent episode of his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Jon Alba asked Matt who is the better personal assistant, his brother Jeff or Jose. Matt Hardy did not hold back.
"Jeffrey Hardy [is better]. Jose is just trash outright. There's nothing good about Jose, nothing good about Jose,” said Matt, who was insistent that he hoped Jose would hear his words.
Matt Hardy will team with Andrade and Isiah Kassidy at AEW Revolution 2022 against Sting, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin in a Tornado Trios Match. Speaking about the match, Matt Hardy would say that if you would have told him at one point in his career that he would be opposite Sting in a match on pay-per-view in 2022, he would have laughed at you.
“If you would have asked me, ‘Is there a chance you'll be wrestling Sting on pay-per-view in 2022?’ I would have laughed at you. I mean, if this was two years ago, I would have laughed at you know. So it's very cool. Once again, Sting is a guy that I have the utmost respect for and he is even a generation ahead of me. I'm an old-timer in the game, you know, so to be able to get to work with him on this huge card in this very cool match. It's something I'm super excited for,” Matt said.
In an update to this story, Jose was not happy about Matt Hardy's words and had a few choice words of his own which he shared on Twitter. Perhaps most bitingly, Jose called Matt Hardy “the other Hardy,” proving that both Jose and Matt at least have the common ground feeling that Jeff Hardy is better than the other.
