Matt Hardy: The Reason Bray Wyatt And I Were Off TV Is Because WWE Got Tired Of Us Suggesting Ideas

After feuding with Bray Wyatt to begin 2018, Matt Hardy aligned with Wyatt to become the Deleters of Worlds. The duo went on to win the Raw Tag Team Titles, but the pairing didn't exactly create the magic that many, including Hardy, had hoped for.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Hardy discussed how he envisioned his partnership with Wyatt playing out and why they were removed from television after losing the Raw Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules 2018.

"I think the reason Bray and I were pulled off TV at that time was they were tired of us suggesting ideas and how to use the Hardy compound and we shouldn't be wrestling all the time," said Hardy. "I think that whole scenario could have been so much more if we were able to get people to listen to our ideas. We wanted Bray because his house had been burned down and he lost his Wyatt family. We literally wanted him to come here with a stick and a bandana and no belongings, join the Hardy Compound, have Senior Benjamin out having him do chores and have King Maxel bossing him around. If we could have gotten to those vignettes and done that stuff, I think we could have had some magical stuff because two characters like Bray was and myself, we're much more a vignette team as opposed to going out and having three-minute match every single Raw."

Hardy let his WWE contract expire on Mar. 2, making him a free agent. Elsewhere in the interview, he stated he didn't believe his brand of entertainment was a priority for WWE. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
