Matt Hardy Says The Hardys Feel ‘Very Honored’ By Paintings And Art, ‘It’s So Cool That We’ve Been So Influential Over All These Years’

The Hardys continue to be beloved in the world of wrestling.

During a recent interview with Fightful, Sean Ross Sapp brought up the topic of art to both Matt and Jeff, as they’ve been on the receiving end of a ton of fan art as of late.

“I’m so envious of anyone who does super realistic stuff really well. My daughters do realistic better than me, I’m pretty much all abstract. Any time I see something immortalized in a beautiful painting is so special.” Jeff Hardy said.

Matt Hardy followed that up by saying that he’s so honored to see the dedication that the fans show.

“It’s a huge honor and it’s so flattering if someone takes the time to make a painting for us. We have people bring those to cons a lot. We feel very honored by it. It’s just so cool. People get the Hardy Boyz symbol, they get that tattooed on them all the time. That’s another thing that’s such an honor and so complimentary. We’re still kinda in the groove. We love what we’re doing. I don’t think we’ve realized how much we’ve done or really don’t sit back and think about it. Maybe we will when it’s all said and done. But it is so cool that we’ve been so influential over all these years.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jeff Hardy recalled being freaked out during the heated feud between Matt Hardy and Edge. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
