Matt Hardy Seemingly Morphs Into 'Broken Matt' On 'Being The Elite'

Matt Hardy is seemingly broken again.

In recent months, Hardy has been involved in evolving storyline with Ethan Page. At first, tensions between the two continued to rise as Page punished Hardy and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) after The Firm acquired their contract. But over the past several weeks, Hardy and Page have started to get along, and Ethan has even started dancing along to Matt's theme song during their entrances. However, all the while, Matt has been teasing the return of his Broken persona, both on his podcast and in brief segments on AEW programming.

On the newest episode of Being The Elite, Hardy and Ethan Page seemingly continued to jell, and they even tried to add to the Hardy Party by recruiting Brandon Cutler. During a meeting with Cutler, Page asked Hardy whether their alliance has helped Matt's business. He responded by saying that it has, and he also made it clear that he's having fun.

EP: Matt, have I increased business for you?

MH: Yeah, and I’m having fun. This is like the most fun I’ve ever had in my career. I’m vibing with Ethan.

After the meeting, Page was clearly happy with the way things were going, and he stated that the duo of them were vibing. Hardy abruptly excused himself so he could go to the bathroom. Ominous music staring playing, and Matt looked in the mirror. He started hitting himself before he yelled and apparently turned into Broken Matt.

Fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for Matt and the Hardy Party as a whole.
