Matt Hardy Thinks Powerhouse Hobbs Has A Ton Of Potential In WWE, Comments On His AEW Run
Matt Hardy comments on the future of Powerhouse Hobbs.
On Thursday, January 22, Fightful Select issued a report confirming that Hobbs has signed with WWE. This news came just one week after Hobbs finished up with AEW.
A couple of days before the news broke, Matt Hardy and Jon Alba taped the latest episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast. Hardy gave his take on Hobbs going to WWE and said that there were a few moments where AEW could’ve pulled the trigger on him.
“I feel like he has a ton of potential in WWE. I feel like there were a couple moments in AEW where he kind of organically started getting over and they never really pulled the trigger on him. That has happened quite a few times with quite a few guys in AEW in the past. I think he’s got a great look, he has an awesome attitude. He is down for whatever. He’s very much a company guy wherever he’s at. I got lots of love for that dude, I think he’s great. I enjoyed getting to know him, I enjoyed getting to be friends with him. I think he has a ton of upside when it is his opportunity to shine in WWE.”
