Matt Jackson: Death Riders Do Not Get Enough Credit For What They’ve Done In AEW Over The Past Year

AEW was flipped on its head at AEW All Out 2024 when Jon Moxley turned on Bryan Danielson to form The Death Riders.

Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta would run roughshod on AEW, challenging anyone to step up to them. Since he became AEW Champion at AEW Wrestle Dream 2024, Moxley has knocked off all challengers including Orange Cassidy, Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, and more.

The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) were off AEW television when the Death Riders began to rise up, but have worked alongside the group since returning at AEW Revolution.

“There’s one thing I would love to say to the fans. The Death Riders do not get enough credit for what they’ve done for this company in the last year. The crowd is up. The ratings are up. The houses are up. The fans are excited. That’s because of the Death Riders. I feel like they don’t get enough credit for what they’ve done for this place,” stated Matthew Jackson while speaking to Renee Paquette on Close-Up.

Moxley will defend his AEW Championship against Hangman Page in a Texas Deathmatch at AEW All In.

Elsewhere during the interview, the Bucks revealed the original location for All In 2018. You can find their full comments here.
