Matt Lyda: Undertaker Probably Kept Podcast Going Longer Than He Wanted To Because Of Me
Matt Lyda believes that Undertaker continued podcasting longer than he may have wanted to because of how much he cares for their friendship.
Matt Lyda, the original co-host of The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, was replaced when WWE took over the show as part of its new partnership with Fanatics. Now, the show is no longer co-hosted by Matt Lyda; instead, WWE Hall of Famer Michelle McCool, who is also The Undertaker’s wife, has become the new co-host.
Speaking to Maven in a video for the former WWE Superstar’s YouTube channel, Lyda discussed how the end of their working relationship had never impacted his relationship with the WWE Hall of Famer. In fact, Lyda believes that “The Phenom” may have kept the podcast going for longer than he wanted to out of respect for their friendship.
“Mark kept the show going probably six to eight months longer than he wanted to, if I was a betting man, really, because of me. He said yes to a lot of things that he probably would have said no to with other people.“

The Undertaker is a coach on WWE LFG, which airs on A&E. In the second season of the series, his wife, Michelle McCool, also became a coach.
