The promotion had its debut event on August 30th in Cleveland, Ohio. It was reported by PWInsider that one of the notable names present was Matt Riddle. While appearing on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, Riddle confirmed he was at the show.
He stated that he spoke to R.A.F. Chief Marking Officer Eric Bischoff and others, and he’ll probably be on one of their future shows.
“And then, the next day, ‘Damn, I still got Friday.’ You had RAF. Hulk Hogan’s dream of amateur wrestling meeting the pros and honestly, I’m a shooter, I love amateur wrestling, and honestly, I hope I get on one of these RAF shows. I talked to (Eric) Bischoff, I talked to everybody else. I’m probably gonna be on one of these shows soon, so, that’s business…”
