Matt Riddle: Goldberg Owes Undertaker An Apology For Their Super ShowDown Match

Matt Riddle is continuing to needle Bill Goldberg about his less-than-stellar performance against The Undertaker in Saudi Arabia at WWE Super ShowDown 2019.

In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of Broken Skull Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg was engaged in a quick round of word association. When asked about Vince McMahon, Bill Goldberg said, "thank you." When asked about The Undertaker, however, Bill Goldberg said, "I owe him a receipt."

Bill Goldberg suffered a concussion during the match in April against the Undertaker and it led to moments in the match where Goldberg would not be able to complete his signature moves such as the Jackhammer and Undertaker would defeat him after a Chokeslam.

Matt Riddle would retweet coverage of this clip and say that Goldberg owes the Undertaker an apology rather than a receipt.

Riddle and Goldberg have not seen eye to eye for quite some time. Riddle would take the WCW legend to task following the match in question, calling Goldberg "the worst wrestler of all-time."

By the time Goldberg returned for his SummerSlam match against Dolph Ziggler, the two would have a meeting backstage that would be chronicled on in edition of WWE Day Of, you can hear Riddle's side of that altercation above.

When asked if he would appear in NXT or be interested in a match against Matt Riddle, Goldberg showed little interest, saying he will only care about NXT talent when they move to one of the main two brands and would also go on to say that he "doesn't even know who Matt Riddle is."

In the ring, Riddle is utilizing Goldberg's Jackhammer now. Triple H, the father of NXT, has said he isn't sure that match between the two will ever take place, and that would be up to Bill.

If the match were to take place, who do you think would win? Sound off in the comments below.
