With Pete Dunne not available due to the travel restrictions in place, Matt Riddle needs a new partner.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced on The Bump that Riddle must find a partner in order to continue to defend the NXT Tag Team Titles moving forward. Assuming Riddle and his new partner are still the champions when Dunne returns, Dunne will swap back in as one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions.
Riddle will need to find his new partner fast because Regal also announced that Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) will get their NXT Tag Team Title rematch on Wednesday's episode of NXT.

Also set for Wednesday's NXT is the start of the interim NXT Cruiserweight Title tournament and Finn Balor vs. Fabian Aichner.
