Matt Riddle Prefers Wrestling Bigger Guys Because He Can "Lay Into Them Harder"

Matt Riddle is confident in his skills against anyone, but he particularly likes going up against bigger wrestlers.

Speaking to Edge & Christian on E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, Riddle was asked who was at the top of his list as far as dream opponents go.

"One that stands out is Aleister Black. I wrestled him in EVOLVE when he was Tommy End in like my first year in EVOLVE. I think we could have a crazy one," said Riddle. "Me and Kyle O'Reilly have wrestled all around the world. We have good work. I've wrestled Keith Lee. I like wrestling the bigger guys because I can lay into them harder. And they can dish it back out and I don't mind. Not a lot of the big guys are in that position right now as top 5 title contenders. Lars (Sullivan) was in NXT but he's going up. Same thing with Heavy Machinery. I wouldn't mind mixing it up with the Big Doz (Otis Dozovic)."

Riddle is currently feuding with Kassius Ohno in NXT. As mentioned by Riddle, Lars Sullivan and Heavy Machinery were just called up to WWE and should be making their main roster debut in the near future. Riddle will be teaming with Aleister Black in 10-man tag team action on Dec. 26 at the WWE Madison Square Garden live event.

In July, Riddle spoke to Fightful in his last interview before signing with WWE. You can listen to the interview here.
