Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong, Tyler Breeze vs. Austin Theory, Adam Cole Set For 3/25 NXT

After delivering no wrestling on last Wednesday's NXT, the gold brand returns this Wednesday with plenty of in-ring action.

NXT announced that Matt Riddle will take on Roderick Strong in singles competition on the Mar. 25 edition of NXT. Also set for the show is Tyler Breeze battling Austin Theory.

From WWE:

Matt Riddle, one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, will have to deal with yet another member of Undisputed ERA tomorrow night on NXT, as he goes one-on-one with Roderick Strong.

Strong will certainly be out to punish Riddle, who along with fellow BroserWeight Pete Dunne, dethroned UE members Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish to win the titles at TakeOver: Portland. Will his master of the backbreaker put Riddle on the mat, or will The Original Bro continue to keep the upper hand on Undisputed ERA?

The budding rivalry between Tyler Breeze and Austin Theory will finally reach the squared circle tomorrow night.

Two weeks ago, Theory interrupted Prince Pretty in the middle of an interview where he was talking about what the WWE Performance Center means to him. Theory mocked Breeze, saying that he would eclipse all of Breeze’s success. Prince Pretty responded by snapping a picture of Theory, saying he looked good for a flash in the pan.

Who will stand tall?

Plus, Adam Cole will deliver a special message.

Just days ago, Adam Cole became the longest reigning NXT Champion in history, surpassing Finn Bálor’s 292-day turn as titleholder.

The Undisputed ERA’s leader has a special message for the NXT Universe, and plans on sharing it tomorrow night. Just what does Cole have in store?

As previously announced, Candice LeRae faces Kayden Carter and Xia Li squares off with Aliyah in qualifying matches for the NXT Women's Title number one contender's ladder match. Plus, Triple H will be in the building to address Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

Fightful will provide live coverage of Wednesday's NXT beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
