Matt Sydal is ready to throw down.
Matt Sydal is set to face Konosuke Takeshita on the May 22 episode of AEW Dynamite. Ahead of the bout, Sydal took to Twitter/X to share his thoughts.
Sydal, referring to himself as the Future IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, said he was going to kick the "takeSHIT out of Don Callis' heavyweight hentai."

Sydal has wrestled for NJPW in the past. He is a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and a former NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship. He also won the Super Jr. Tag Tournament in 2015.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Konosuke Takeshita will face IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley in an Eliminator Match. With a win, he would earn a shot at the title.
