Matt Taven wonders why he has not been given more chances at the ROH World Championship.
In an interview with Sporting News, Matt Taven explained how the "Kingdom Conspiracy" is based in reality. The members of the Kingdom have been complaining about how they are treated by Ring of Honor and Taven said he has not been given the opportunities he has earned.
“I have a serious question of 'why?' I've been in Ring of Honor for five years. I've won every title that they have to offer besides one and I've only had two opportunities at that title. Both matches had interference in them but nothing was ever done about it. I was never given an honest chance, an honest shake with a rematch and even opportunity. I feel like I deserve it. The only thing I'm asking Ring of Honor is what I deserve,” said Taven.
Also during the interview, Taven discussed how he and the rest of The Kingdom created a spectacle outside of Supercard of Honor XII to express their discontent with how Ring of Honor has been treating the group. He also said he expects someone to try to quiet his voice but he vows to continue to speak up.
