Back in October, During GCW The Collective, Tremont lost to Rickey Shane Page in what was believed to be his final match. Now, he has announced that he will be a part of a series of events this October leading up to another match against Atsushi Onita.

On August 5, 2017, Tremont and Onita, at an event called CZW Once in a Lifetime, competed in a No Ropes Barbed Wire Exploding Baseball Bats Deathmatch against one another. Ultimately, there would be no winner as the match would end in a No Contest.

Both H20, a promotion that is operated by Tremont, and Onita’s new FMW-E promotion are co-promoting this match that is taking place on Halloween night 2021.

Recently, Cody Rhodes revealed that he once seriously considered having a Deathmatch against Matt Tremont. Learn more here.
